Look to the right of the altar - see the arch behind the columns?
Yesterday's art is in a matching arch on the left side of the altar.
Looking at the lower window (seen through the columns), you may be able to tell that the walls are nearly three-feet thick.
This is still an active chapel.
I so loved looking through all the churches when we visited Italy 3 years ago. And my husband adores prickly pears! He raids plants on the sides of the road here in NZ as the locals certainly won't eat them :-)
