Living in the land of sun, small towns, welcoming people. Daily (or nearly so) photos of Belpasso (Sicily) and the island - this is my home for the forseeable future.
Please leave a comment, if only to say hello ... it's always good to hear from friends both old and new ...

GASTRONOMIA
A small take-away restaurant, butcher and rotassarie chicken shop in Linguaglossa up on Mt. Etna...
Really good food! The owner was originally a butcher who worked in a local market ... he took off on his own a few years back to open his own butcher shop. Added the take-away -- even has two (small) tables in the far section of his shop where you can sit and eat your meal if you so choose. The last couple times we've been there, there have been Carabinari officers in picking up mid-day meals.
One of these non/descript places where you can get great food, casalingha, I hope!
