COBBLESTONE IN THE STREET

The historical sections of towns often  have cobblestones carved from Mt Etna lava lining at least a few streets.   Having lava stones laid in the streets makes the towns eligible for additional tourism funding from the government.  This section of road in Belpasso was finished 30 Dec 1966.
